Sri Subramanya Swami Temple Conservation and Restoration, Sirsi, Karnataka

Sirsi is a town adorned with natural beauty and holds numerous waterfalls in the vicinity. Other then the waterfalls and areca nut plants another jewel in its folds is the famous Sri Subramanya Swami Temple. The Temple is 200 years old private ancestral shrine. The temple had structural damage due to weathering and seepage. Our team worked on the conservation and restoration of the temple structure. The temple was restored and conserved to its original form along with beautification of the structure where our team created artwork on themes related to Sri Subramanya Swami in ‘Kaavi’ style, a popular traditional artwork style of the region.

Mubarak Mandi Heritage Complex, Panjtirthi, Jammu

Located on the bank of River Taavi, Mubarak Mandi Heritage Complex is situated in the town of Jammu. It is one of the oldest building complex of the town being the royal seat of the Dogra Rulers of Jammu. Many of the buildings within the complex had beautiful painting panels installed on the ceiling along with the popular traditional woodcraft style, Khatambandh patterns. Our team conserved and restored these painting panels and Khatambandh patterns to their original form. The panels were restored with minimum intervention and are waited to be installed once the building is conserved.
